One last trip to Patches (well, the last of the "summer")

This cat was a sorry sight.  It had a singed off tail, gash in its side, and a too tight collar and it would not leave us alone.  Owen, who normally does not bother much with animals, fell in love with this cat.  He thought it was "so so cute" and kept begging to bring it home.  I kept telling him he had a big, fat, friendly cat at home to play with, but he really wanted this one. 

One last "summer" trip to the playground

Poor Adam and Sam were probably nauseous by the time they got to the playground with Owen and Ella pushing them.

Earlier tonight I heard Owen yelling at Adam, "No, buddy, no buddy, we don't do that... You're better than that!"  Adam started to cry hysterically because his big brother just yelled at him so I walked in to see the lampshade destroyed.  Adam must have a thing for hitting lampshades.  Later tonight he did the same thing to the lampshade in our bedroom, but thankfully I caught him in time so it's not completely destroyed.  UGH!

 Tomorrow morning my alarm will go off at 5:15am.  Good thing Adam has given me lots of practice at early morning wake ups :)
