Paige is home for the weekend- yippee!! We have been talking about taking the kids to Cherry Crest Farm for a while now and today we finally did it. We loaded them up in the mini van and drove about an hour to Amish country. The drive was totally worth it!
Adam's favorite part was the singing chickens. They sang his favorite song... Old McDonald
Every so often the train from Strasburg would go by. Adam's face says just how excited he was about that!
The biggest trampoline I've ever seen.
This is my new favorite fall spot. I can't wait to go back. In fact, I think we may need another trip soon just so we can take daddy!

Sunday Quicky
Phew... this weekend went by super fast. Here's a little recap from last week...

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Hershey Hotel for their wine and food festival. It was so much fun... perfect weather, yummy food and drinks, live jazz, and a wonderful time with friends. I don't think I've laughed that much for a while- definitely needed!
I thought it would be something fun and different to do for Mike's birthday (thanks for the idea Jenny) since his birthday was this past Thursday. Thankfully Beth and Eric were home and were kind enough to spend the afternoon watching our boys.
Oh, and just for future story telling... while we were away and Adam was supposed to be napping, he woke up and without making a peep (so Aunt Beth couldn't hear in the monitor) he went into our bathroom, got into ALL of my make up, and smeared liquid foundation and blush all over himself, his baby, and our bathroom. Lovely. Poor Aunt Beth and Eric were really worried he may have eaten some because he said he "wanted to taste it", but thankfully he's fine. I'm sure he'll appreciate that story in about 15 years.
Owen had a soccer game on Thursday, which was also Mike's 35th birthday. Afterwards, we came back to our house for a little birthday celebration.

Love these boys so much!
Saturday we spent a good part of the day tailgating before the Farm Aid concert. This is the first time it's ever been to Hershey, PA so we just had to go. My favorite part was sitting in a chair for 4 hours with NOTHING to do, but eat, drink, and people watch. I feel like I am on the go 99% of the time so I fully enjoy and appreciate doing nothing.
The concert was packed- scary packed. We stayed for a while and then headed home. I was happy I got to see Jack Johnson. I think my love for him has reignited after Saturday's concert :)

This morning we all went to church. Adam is in a new class called Tot's and Two's. Parents are asked to join in on the class with their child. It was nice meeting new moms and spending some quality time with him. He LOVED it because I got to be with him instead of dropping him off in the nursery (where he usually screams for a good 5 minutes). He was so excited to be going to "school". Ever since Owen started school Adam keeps telling us he wants to go to school too. He cried when we got home because he wanted to go back to "school".
And I'll end this rambled post with two things I am loving right now...
My crockpot. I've made many meals in it this week and every one has been delicious and even my picky eater boys loved them.
Fall scented candles. Right now my house smells like autumn pumpkins. All we need is our pellet stove turned on and I'd really be in heaven!
Off to my cozy bed.

| No, I'm not pregnant. Just look like it in this pic. |

Fall is here!
At least I hope it is. I am loving this cool weather. We've been spending a lot of time outdoors.
Last night we met Nana Way at the Riding Club. She was giving out a trophy in honor of her horse Ice during the horse show and she wanted us to be there to present the trophy.
We got the boys dressed and since it's a rare occasion that they look nice, I decided it was a perfect time to take some pictures.
Owen was excited to take some pictures with his camera too.

Nana Way let Owen help her hand out some ribbons. The look on his face shows how proud he was to do that.
It brought back memories from when I was a little girl and I helped hand out ribbons at a show.

It was a task keeping Adam from distracting the horses. He kept yelling, "Hi horsey!!!"
Such a great, fall night!
