A Wittle Weprechaun

I just had to write this story down because it's one I don't want to forget...
Last week I asked Mike's mom if she could watch Adam while Mike took Owen to baseball practice.  My sister was just about to have her baby and I wanted to get to Baltimore.

It was a nice day so they were outside.  Adam wanted to play with a shovel (not a kid shovel) and Nana Way told him he wasn't allowed.  He didn't like being told he couldn't play with it, so he came into the house while she was still outside and he locked the door.  He locked Nana Way out of the house!

When she walked up to the door and realized it was locked she played it cool and went and sat on the deck steps.  Eventually Adam unlocked the door and went back outside and told her he didn't know what happened.  He said a "wittle weprechaun" (little leprechaun) must have locked the door.  He acted baffled.  What a stinker!!!!

We had a talk with him about locking people out of the house so hopefully it never happens again.  Lately, he's been blaming a lot on wittle weprechauns. His imagination is running wild.  He woke up one morning and his Band-Aid had fallen off in his sleep.  He was sure a wittle weprechaun came in to his room and took it off in the middle of the night.  He said he could even feel his wittle feet walking on him.  Oh this boy!!!

LOL- Sounds like he's still stuck in St. Patrick's Day. Isn't the things they come up with absolutely the cutest?
