Sunday Polo

Last Sunday we went to a Polo match at Forney Field in Lititz.

My mom took us to Sunday Polo matches all the time when we were younger and I love, love, love going back and taking the boys.
Some of the trees we used to climb are still there, but some are replaced with new trees.  The same announcer still announces the match.  They play music in between chuckers and everyone goes out onto the field to stomp divots.  Some people go all out with their tailgate- candles, flowers, table clothes, china.  It's a ton of fun and the best part is there's an enormous field for the boys to run around and play on before the match begins and in between each chucker.

It's one of my favorite things to do on a Sunday afternoon and I'm not sure why we only went once this season.  Tomorrow is the last match of the year until next summer.
Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday.

Last night we went on another family date night.  We had dinner at Iron Valley Golf Course and then Mike asked if we could take a golf cart around the course.
It was beautiful!  We got to watch the sunset.  We saw a bunch of turkeys, deer, rabbits, and geese.  Such a great night!

Today Owen had a soccer game.  The field was huge, it was so hot out, they worked so hard and lost (badly!) and Adam threw one of his top 5 biggest tantrums in front of everyone...fun times.

I was able to get some pictures of Owen and his teammates playing.  They really have improved so much this season.

 Crazy, big stride!
Adam has been into crafting lately.  One morning this week he was already up and cutting and coloring by 6:30am.  He has all these ideas of crafts in his head and completely goes to town.  Here they were decorating their pumpkins since it's too early to carve them.
 Happy Saturday!
