Easter 2016

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating with cousins and family.

Springhaven Woods is so much fun at Easter time!

It was hard to get a good picture of all the cousins.  It didn't help that Owen taught Caleb to stick his tongue out for pictures right before we started.
Here's a fall picture of my sister, my cousins and I when we were little:)  Gotta love my bowl shaped haircut :)

Smocked dresses, bows, bunnies and baskets.  So much cuteness!

Not so sure that's a good idea Caleb.

Aunt Kate and Aunt Phran spoil the boys with special gifts and Hanna jammies.  When my boys are grown up they will have wonderful memories of their childhood at Springhaven Woods and I know some of those memories will include he cozy Hanna jammies they would get as gifts from their aunts.

Dropping a parachute off the upstairs balcony.

Today we had my parents, Mike's parents, Mel, Beth, Eric, and Caleb over for Easter lunch.  Since Owen's birthday is next Saturday we celebrated with a cake after lunch.  It's so hard to believe he will be 9 years old!!!

Such a fun Easter!  So thankful to spend it with family.

Month of March

I completely forgot to post some pics from the end of February and I didn't want to leave them out...

Owen was in a basketball tournament.  It was his first tournament where we had to travel and stay over night in a hotel.   I think the best part of the entire weekend was the yummy breakfast with the team.
We came home from the tournament and all snuggled up in bed and watched every episode of Fuller House.   The boys think it's hilarious and Mike and I enjoy it too :)

Paige came up for a visit with the girls.  We had a great time playing outside and celebrating Paige and my dad's birthdays.

Unfortunately, after playing in the woods with Sam and Ella, Adam got poison for the second time this winter.  This time, it started on his face.
I love finding notes from Adam next to my bed...

March is usually one of my least favorite months.  Often it is cold and rainy, but not this month!  We have had some record warm temps this month.  The boys have already worn shorts to school and all our deck furniture is out.
However, the best part of March is we have not had any sports all month.  We've enjoyed lots of time playing outside, doing yard work, picking up sticks, and having our first camp fire.

 We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday-
St. Patrick's Day

Went on hikes and climbed rocks-

And finally, celebrated Easter.

We had a short, but sweet, visit from Paige and the girls.

Baseball, soccer , and swimming begin this week, but up until this week the boys have been able to come home and go right outside to play.  No rushing to get homework done, dinner made, and everything ready for whatever sport is going on after school.  It's been so nice!!! I really loved March.
