Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken a few weeks ago.  Ashley Reif did a great job despite the boys not being all that cooperative.

Owen's smile is a bit forced and fake in many of the pictures.  I finally got him to smile for a few of the pictures (I had to use my "boy mom" potty humor).  Here's a peek...

Cute one of Caleb

Yes, grandparents, I ordered a bunch of prints for you :)

Helllloooo November

It feels like October was gone in the blink of an eye.  Here are some pictures from Halloween and Trick-or-Treat (and some other random pictures)...
Owen was an Eagles football player and Adam was Scooby Doo.  He really got into character.
We had so much fun getting together with cousins and Trick-or-Treating with Bea.  She was such a trooper!

The boys were up really early the morning after we changed the clocks back so they made us breakfast.  Mike's waffles were still frozen and I don't think I laughed that hard that early in the morning in a looooong time.
Cheech is such a great cat and the boys adore him.
Last Sunday all the boys watched Harry Potter in the spring house.
We were having some plumbing issues so the boys enjoyed a bubble bath at Papa and Finney's house.
Adam is my little shopping buddy (especially this time of year).  He loves looking at all the Christmas decorations.  He wants EVERYTHING so I let him take a picture of whatever he wants and that seems to satisfy him.  He asks every day how much longer until we can put up the Christmas tree.  He's already making decorations to hang on his tree.
I love Thanksgiving- in fact, it's my favorite holiday.  I also love Christmas and I don't really think it's ever too early to start decorating.  Mike, on the other hand, doesn't feel the same way and makes me wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our tree.  It doesn't stop Adam and I from s-l-o-w-l-y putting up other Christmas decorations.  A Christmas tissue box here, some holiday soap there, and it's never too early for Christmas cookies (Owen will agree with that!).

Pumpkin Carving

We had fun carving pumpkins this afternoon.  I think Adam enjoyed it the most.  This was the first year he could actually carve his pumpkin by himself.
Adam did it all by himself.

Owen had pumpkin pulp all over his shirt which is why he's shirtless in this picture.  He was laughing at his dad because he made a silly nose on his pumpkin.  Love his toothless smile!

Even after everyone was finished, Adam continued to carve away.

Lately...

Tonight Mike told me that my blog book this year is going to be the thinnest one yet and that I should allow him access to my blog so he can start posting things since I've been slacking- ha!  Our days are full and busy, but mostly of the same thing... school, soccer, school, soccer...  Now that soccer is over for both boys we will have a little more free time at home after school and work (at least until Owen starts basketball).

Last weekend Paige and the girls were home visiting.  We got to see them for a few hours, but always wish our time with them was longer.
The kids were having fun jumping off Mike's ramp and I was having fun trying to photograph them.

Last week was letter "F" week at daycare and Adam got to dress up as a firefighter.  He was very excited because a REAL firefighter and firetruck was going to come to Linda's house.
Playing in leaf piles...
Rope climbing...
Last weekend my mom and I took the boys to see Frozen On Ice.  We bought tickets last minute and had seats way at the top, but it was still an amazing show.  Adam sang so loud that some people were turning around looking at us.... It was priceless.  One of those moments I always want to remember.
All that singing wore him out and he was asleep within a few minutes of getting in the car to head home.
He continued to sleep even after carrying him inside after we got home.
I finally picked him up thinking that if I held him he would wake up (I wanted him up so he would go to bed at a normal time), but he continued to sleep on me.  I loved every minute of it.
The boys (neighbor boys too) enjoyed playing in the creek last weekend.  They didn't let the chilly 40 degree temps stop them from getting completely soaked.  Burrrrrrrr.
Owen has been loosing lots of teeth lately.  He lost two just last week.  He's our little Jack-o-Lantern :)
We let milk out next to his bed the night he lost his tooth.  We heard if you do that your tooth fairy will dip her wing in the milk so you can see what color her wings are.
Adam had a Halloween party to go to this afternoon.
Little hayride...
Owen played flag football with friends for 2 hours.
Then cooked hotdogs over a campfire for dinner.
Such a fun night with friends!
